PHYSICAL FITNESS
Health and fitness are imperative to remaining independent and performing activities of daily living. The Senior Center offers various types of exercise opportunities including Silver Sneakers, Tai Chi, line dancing, Arthritis exercise, Zumba and Yoga. We offer a walking path in the park and healthy living presentations to enhance and promote the quality of life. Most of our classes can be paid by your insurance. Please see a staff member to see if you are eligible. Otherwise, a small donation of $2.00 is asked. As always, the 1st class is always free!
Walking: "Walk With Ease"; Special "Walk" Program as Advertised (Weather Permitting)
Arthritis Exercise: Friday at 9:30 am (free)
Line Dancing: Mondays - Advanced (8:30-10:30 am) (free)
Wednesdays - Beginners (10:30 am - 11:30 am (free)
Tuesday Evenings - 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Donation Accepted)
Silver Sneakers: Monday and Wednesday 12:15 pm -1:15 pm ($2 donation or insurance)
Tai Chi: Monday and Wednesday 2-3pm ($2 donation or insurance)
Zumba: Wednesdays at 9:00 am - 10:00 am (free)
Yoga: Mondays at 5:30 pm ($2 donation or insurance)
